 Sinéad Ní Mhaoilmhichíl (2007-2008 Academic Year)
Sinéad
Ní Mhaoilmhichíl graduated with a BA
honours in the Irish Language and in Music from University College
Dublin (UCD) in 2005. During her time as an undergraduate
student in UCD, she earned two language scholarships and was elected
Irish
Language Officer for the Students' Union. She then pursued
post-graduate
studies in Business and Information Technology, through the Irish
language at
Dublin City University. Sinéad spent two years working for
Comhdháil Náisiúnta
na Gaeilge - a language advisory and promotion organization who act as
an
umbrella-group for twenty three other Irish language support
organizations
throughout Ireland. While at SIUC, Sinéad taught courses in the
Irish language
and Irish culture.
